California here we come!!!

Hi everybody! Me again! Who did you expect, Hillary Clinton? No, she can't be on my blog. She doesn't want it bad enough. If you want to succeed in this world all you have to do it want it, and go after it! AND...look really, really cute doing it! So, quick update. We went to California last month and had a really good time, Mom had a better time than dad and I. You'll see why later ;)I'm being potty trained right now and let me tell you...well I'll tell you later. Oh, by the way, if you notice some typos, it's because I "accidentally" shook salt into the keyboard. Enjoy!

Mommy, it says right here, "Non-Toxic". That means it tastes good.

Me and Ba-pa at the Hatfield Marine Science Center. I had to explain to him all about binkies and how they contribute to the national economy, help educate children across the country and lower taxes. Believe me...binkies are the one thing holding the entire free world together. At least as far as I'm concerned.

I totally just pwned that noob! Or whatever the kids are saying these days.

This is the pose you assume when entering the Redwoods. All you can say is "Wow". There's nothing like it. Probably the single most awe inspiring creatures on the planet, and they're all pretty much right here. A narrow strip along California's Northern coast. It was definitely worth the spur of the moment (ask Mommy for details) road trip.

This was one of the biggest trees we saw when we got here. It used to be the gateway to the underworld, but that was moved to Molalla.

The Corkscrew Tree.

Screwing around inside the Corkscrew Tree.

There used to be a sign here that said "Big Tree". I think they need to put it back up to distinguish this "Big Tree" from the hundreds of other big trees down here.

C'mon you guys!!! I know slugs that are faster than you two. I can go like this all day!!!

...after Mommy carries me back to the car and I have my nap that is.
Uhhhh....
Now this is what I call a tree house!
Rock on!
Mommy got into an accident. She drove into a tree!!! HAHAHAHA!!! Get it? Yeah? Okay. Sorry.
Okay. Here's a quick guessing game. This is where we went after the Redwoods. Can you guess where we are now?
Okay. Here's a BIG clue.
Ta-Da! Mommy figured since we were so close, (only another day's drive away) we might as well go and see where all of the world's second best wine comes from. The best wine comes from Oregon of course.
Sterling Vineyards.
Mommy saw this sign and almost wept tears of joy.
This is almost enough wine for Mommy and Melissa to drink in a month.
When in Rome... (just water folks)
WOO-HOO!
Wait a minute...this isn't grape juice!
Fancy picture of grapes Daddy took with his "new" camera.
Beringer Vineyards.
Robert Mondavi Vineyards.
Plum tuckered.
Wanna see me table dance?

Throw me my beads now.

We're home now in Portland and I just can't figure out this modern art, man.
I think my Mommy is the most beautiful Mommy in the world.
The Big E. He'll be one this month. He's almost walking. He's gonna have to work pretty hard to keep up with the Diva.
Here's Uncle Jerry "reading" to us. He didn't do the voices right.
Cousin Christy and Donnie took me to the zoo. This picture was taken the moment after Christy told me if that I didn't behave, I would spend the rest of the day in the monkey cage while they ate the cheese and apples that Mommy packed for me.
Where are all my fans?
Don't worry. The zoo keepers caught him and put him back in his cage before he could do any real harm.
The zoo is one of my favorite places to go in the entire city. It has monkeys and butterflies and fishes and other animals that make me smile. Like this. Even though it smells like Uncle Jim's room.
Blueberry. Nuff' said.
Did you know that Grape Nuts make a killer mousse?
Here we are at the beach. Papa-T rented a beach house and we all went down to Pacific City and spent the weekend. I really had a good time. The dogs had a really good time too. They pretended they were Spinal Tap in a hotel and trashed the place. Were gonna blame it all on Uncle Nate and tell everybody he did it in his sleep. Hopefully they believe us. ;)
Mommy and me by the seashore.
Here we have an example of a wonderful, generous, really beautiful person, and behind her is Aunty Alison.
Great view. Not out the window. Right here on the chair. True gorgeousness.
Silly puppies.
We're not actually in the water, we're fakin'.

Hi Eva G. Love the pictures!

Did you know that Uncle Nate and I (and Vegas) have driven through that tree, too?

Love and kisses,
Aunt Sara
